Within easy walking distance to the new town park, Hamlet of East Quogue & Jitney stop (<1mile), Hampton Point is a friendly community located on the western edge of East Quogue, bordered by Daves Creek to the East and Shinnecock Bay to the South.

The community boasts a private beach on Shinnecock Bay which at a depth of 3-4" deep at high tide, is perfect for wading,sunbathing and daydreaming. The four boat docks available to resident boat owners, are also great for wildlife viewing, fishing and crabbing. Quiet dead end streets are just made for evening strolling.

Initially developed as a summer bungalow community in the early 1950's, Hampton Point is now a mixed population with both summer and fulltime residents. While many bungalows have been tastefully expanded to maintain the ambiance of the community, waterfront homes have typically been expanded to the allowable limits of town building codes.
